The Relation Ship between the Demographic-Sociological Characteristic and the Volunteer's effectiveness of the College Students

Abstract

|
This study was conducted to examine which factors related to the Volunteer``s effectiveness of college students. In order to do so, 253 of college students from Daegu and Kyungbuk area were selected and surveyed. The major findings of this study is as follows. The major field difference of the subjects in the interpersonal presenting higher score for humanities & other compared to engineering & arts·physical. The volunteer experience difference of the subjects in the interpersonal presenting higher score for 1-3 months, 3-12 months & more than 12 months compared to less than 1 months. The count of volunteer difference of the subjects in the interpersonal presenting higher score for 2-3 times a month & at least once a week compared to less than 1 months. The volunteer sector difference of the subjects in the interpersonal showed no difference from each other. However, the social responsibility presenting higher score for labor service & instructional and assistance sector compared to less than etc. The economic level difference of the subjects in the interpersonal presenting higher score for high levels of economic groups compared to level is low levels of economic groups. However, the social responsibility and total effect showed no difference from each other.
